Where should I fly to in the UAE?

Abu Dhabi (AUH) is perfectly placed as a starting point for your UAE adventure. The airport is only a 25-minute drive from downtown Abu Dhabi and just 15 minutes from Yas Island. Travelling to other emirates is relatively straightforward – it’s around a 90-minute drive from Abu Dhabi to Dubai.

Do I need to carry my passport in the UAE?

You don’t need to carry your passport with you while you’re in the UAE, but you should keep some form of ID with you. It’s a good idea to take a photocopy and keep this paper version with you.

How many days do you need to visit the UAE?

Most visitors looking to visit more than one region in the United Arab Emirates take between a week and 10 days to explore all the country has to offer. If Abu Dhabi is your destination, five days to a week will give you time to really get to know the city.
