Major Airports in Lagos

The largest airport in Nigeria is Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS) and it is located in Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria and serves the nation’s capital city. LOS is roughly 22 kilometres outside of Lagos city centre. The airport has various customer services like a bank and business centre and a post office. It has many shops throughout the terminal including duty free stores. There are also quite a few cafes and a couple of full service restaurants available in the terminal as well. It welcomed over 10 million visitors in 2012.

Airport Transportation in Lagos

You cannot take a train to Murtala Muhammed International Airport. There is no direct service by bus to Murtala Muhammed International Airport. Some hotels in Lagos do offer shuttle service however. The surest way to get to and from your flights on time is to take a taxi to Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
