Johannesburg’s major airport is the OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) located in the outskirts of the city. Airport Transportation in Johannesburg

The airport’s location makes it easy for passengers to connect to their accommodation and back. There are several options with a train to OR Tambo International Airport connecting to the Sandton area and Pretoria. The train station is located between terminus A and B on the airports upper level. A taxi to OR Tambo International Airport is also available from anywhere in the city centre. A bus to OR Tambo International Airport from the city centre takes just a short time and so is the ride in a taxi to OR Tambo International Airport. Taxis are more convenient if you know your way around or are travelling in the company of a local.
