Port Columbus International Airport (CMH) serves as the primary destination for local and international travel into and out of the city. Founded in 1929, Port Columbus International Airport has since undergone a number of renovations, with over $110 million dollars in improvements having been constructed between 1979 and 1998. Airport Transportation in Columbus

There are a number of travel options available to a traveller leaving Columbus. A bus to Port Columbus International Airport departs downtown Columbus every 20 minutes to ferry passengers along the 25 mile journey. For travellers unwilling to wait, a taxi to Port Columbus International Airport is available downtown and while this is the more expensive option, it is also the most expedient. There is currently no train to Port Columbus International Airport.
