Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport (DKR) is Dakar’s international airport. The airport is situated close to the town of Yoff 10 miles north-west of Dakar. The airport is a major gateway into Senegal in addition to whole of West Africa and is well connected to all major cities across the world. There is one terminal and two runways on this airport and it also is the connecting airport to the Canary Islands. The airport is small as compared to most International airports but always busy.

Airport Transportation in Dakar

You can board a yellow and black taxi to Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport until midnight from anywhere in Dakar. The authorized airport taxis from Dakar city centre also offer night service. Another option for you is to board a bus to Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport. A bus will drop you east of the airport and the journey would take about 20 minutes from the city. There is no train to Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport.
