Lusaka International Airport (LUN) has been recently renamed and is now known as Kenneth Kaunda International Airport. It is located roughly eight miles from Lusaka city centre. The airport houses a bank, a newsagent, a duty free shop, a pharmacy and a restaurant. Another major airport in Zambia is Livingstone Airport (LVI) which recently also had its name changed. It is now known as Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport and it is the closest airport to Victoria Falls.

A taxi to Kenneth Kaunda International Airport is usually the safest and most reliable mode of transportation. It typically takes between 15 and 20 minutes to arrive at the departure terminal from Lusaka city centre.
