Major Airports in Bordeaux

Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport (BOD) is located 12 km from the city centre and is one of the busiest in France. In fact, the airport receives more than four million passengers a year. Airport Transportation in Bordeaux

This airport is well connected to the rest of the city. The No. 1 bus to Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport covers some of the most highly frequented and important locations throughout the city, from Mérignac Soleil to Barrière Judaïque and Quinconces.

Although there is no train to Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport, a convenient bus service departs from the city railway station every 45 minutes. Keep in mind, however, that the buses are normally not available after midnight. If your travel plans require you to leave for the airport after midnight, just take a taxi to Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport instead.
