Just stroll down the Al-Azhar Park to take some stunning pictures of locals and the colourful and varied vegetation that is grown.

The weather in Cairo is moderate and dry most of the time. Summers can be somewhat hot though, which can put a hold on some outdoor activities. Cheap hotels in Cairo are available during the off-peak season in the hotter months. Book your tickets to Cairo in advance to enjoy the fall and spring which are recommended as the best seasons. Major Airports in Nepal

As Nepal is a relatively small country, Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) is its only international airport. It is located 3 miles from Kathmandu city centre. It offers snack shops and various shopping opportunities including a souvenir shop. There are also post office facilities and a convenient currency exchange. The duty-free shop and a business class lounge are located on the first floor.

Airport Transportation in Nepal

There is no train to Tribhuvan International Airport, but a regularly scheduled bus to Tribhuvan International Airport runs from the centre of Kathmandu. This operates daily from dawn to dusk, but not during the night. It will be more expensive, but if this is not a concern, you could always take a taxi to Tribhuvan International Airport. There are plenty around the city who will be willing to take you there.
