Arriving in Muscat

Book your flights to Muscat with Etihad Airways and prepare to see both the ancient and modern come together in this wondrous destination. Muscat offers a wealth of experiences from riding magnificent Arabian horses to enjoying a balmy sunset at Qurum Beach.

Plan Your Muscat Holiday

Travel to Muscat and discover everything you hope for; fine weather, wonderful cuisine, modern facilities, history and culture. The landscape is both mountainous and oceanic, allowing every taste to be catered for. Modern shopping malls co-exist with traditional markets and older regions of Muscat are walled and gated as if time has stood still.

As Muscat has so much to offer, in such a unique geographic area, it continues to be a timeless destination. We advise that you book your tickets to Muscat well in advance if you wish to visit in the popular springtime, when various international events are held in pleasant temperatures. To find cheap hotels in Muscat seek accommodation outside of the Muscat district and consider booking outside of January to later February. Later in the year flight deals to Muscat can also be better as the temperatures increase.

Major Airports in Bangladesh

Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC) serves the city of Dhaka with international flights to worldwide destinations. The airport is located about 20 km from the city and is convenient for both tourists and business travellers.

In the south-eastern region of Bangladesh, the Shah Amanat International Airport (CGP) serves the port city of Chittagong. The airport accommodates a larger number of international passengers than domestic ones and has more dedicated space for handling the large number of passengers.

Airport Transportation in Bangladesh

Some travellers take a taxi to Shah Amanat International Airport through the Agrabad area. Although transportation throughout Bangladesh is commonly by rickshaws, you can also get a micro-bus to Shah Amanat International Airport at bus stops throughout the city.

For journeys to and from Hazrat Shahjalal Airport, travelling by taxi is a more convenient option than the traditional rickshaw. There are not many feasible alternatives, as there is no train to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Interested in Muscat? Consider Al Ain

With your flights to Al Ain on Etihad Airways, you will find yourself in the beautiful Garden City where you’ll feel a distant past and return to embrace modernity all with the course of a few minutes. This land encompasses the spirit of the Emirates and preserves an ancient heritage that has earned it the designation as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Plan your Al Ain Holiday

There are a thousand reasons to travel to Al Ain: explore its modern roads in search of the most original sculptures, walk its green gardens in stark contrast to the desert that surrounds the city, look for a bargain in the old bazaar, step through the doors of its fortresses and into the past, or brave the desert sands on a camel in search of Qattara.

If you’re thinking of buying some tickets to Al Ain, keep in mind that the time preferred by residents of the nearby Abu Dhabi is the summer, so it will be harder to find flights and cheap hotels in Al Ain. It would be wise to consider a visit during the winter season when there are excellent flight deals to Al Ain and temperatures are milder.
