Major Airports in Riyadh

The primary domestic and international gateway to Riyadh and beyond is the King Kalid International Airport, which is located some 20 miles outside of Riyadh City in the middle of the desert. As you would expect from one of the largest airports in the world, it has a wide range of facilities that cater to your every need. As well as a variety of eateries and shops, there is also a mosque.

Airport Transportation in Riyadh

No train to King Kalid Airport is available at present. Women drivers are not allowed to drive on public roads, therefore taking a car on hire is not an option for a single woman traveller or if you are an only women group. If choosing car rentals you must be aware of the local driving rules. Metered taxis to King Kalid International Airport are easy to hire from all locations in the city. Many of the city hotels provide a complimentary bus to King Kalid International airport.
