Wander through the Huanglong Scenic Area considered by some to be "A Fairyland on Earth.” Get lost in Chengdu history in one of its many ancient towns. Indulge in a Chinese feast provided by one of Chengdu’s renowned restaurants. Be enthralled at a Sichuanese opera performance.

The peak season in Chengdu runs from March through May. We recommend you reserve your tickets to Chengdu several months in advance if you wish to travel during this busy part of the year. To find cheap hotels in Chengdu, consider travelling in the off-season (December through February) when weather conditions are not as sunny but crowds much smaller. Major Airports in Lebanon

Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY) offers flights from the city of Beirut. The airport has a single terminal which has two wings, the East Wing and the West Wing. Joined by the main terminal to create a u-shaped building, the main terminal is the location of most of the duty free and other shops along with lounges and a restaurant. It also has a three-level car park.

In Tripoli, flights leave Rene Mouawad Air Base (KYE). The airport, sometimes simply called Kleyate Airport, is located close to the town of Kleyate as well as being only 6 km from the Lebanese-Syrian border.

Airport Transportation in Lebanon

The only option for transportation is to get a taxi to Beirut-Rafic Hariri Airport, with a typical journey time of 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the traffic.

Transportation to Kleyate Airport from Kleyate city centre is available by taxi. There is no train to Kleyate Airport, but the bus to Kleyate Airport is usually a much more affordable option.

Interested in Chengdu? Consider Al Ain

With your flights to Al Ain on Etihad Airways, you will find yourself in the beautiful Garden City where you’ll feel a distant past and return to embrace modernity all with the course of a few minutes. This land encompasses the spirit of the Emirates and preserves an ancient heritage that has earned it the designation as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Plan your Al Ain Holiday

There are a thousand reasons to travel to Al Ain: explore its modern roads in search of the most original sculptures, walk its green gardens in stark contrast to the desert that surrounds the city, look for a bargain in the old bazaar, step through the doors of its fortresses and into the past, or brave the desert sands on a camel in search of Qattara.

If you’re thinking of buying some tickets to Al Ain, keep in mind that the time preferred by residents of the nearby Abu Dhabi is the summer, so it will be harder to find flights and cheap hotels in Al Ain. It would be wise to consider a visit during the winter season when there are excellent flight deals to Al Ain and temperatures are milder.
