Arriving in Brisbane

Book your flights to Brisbane with Etihad Airways and get ready to discover the secrets of this city one by one. Vast beaches, small subtropical forests and an urban environment bursting with energy and vitality are just some of the amazing things that await you.

Plan Your Brisbane Holiday

There are thousands of reasons to travel to Brisbane. After you discover the charm of the Gold Coast and the mythic Surfers Paradise you're ready to go inland. Set out on a walk through eucalyptus trees until you reach Blue Lake, where you’ll find refreshing streams that flow through the dense forest of Lamington National Park.

If the city is your preference, the luxurious boutiques of Edward Street, a visit to the amazing collection of antiquities in the Abbey Museum and stunning views of the city from the Story Bridge are waiting for you. With Etihad Airways you can find great flight deals to Brisbane, which will allow you to enjoy all these experiences. Remember, however, that if you want to find cheap hotels in Brisbane, it will be better for you to book your tickets to Brisbane in the low season, during the months from May to October.

Flying from Iraq

Book your flights from Iraq to hundreds of destinations worldwide with Etihad Airways and enjoy the outstanding service that starts from the time you make your reservation and doesn’t end until you reach your destination.

Major Airports in Iraq

Flights depart from Baghdad at Baghdad International Airport (BGW). The airport has 6 passenger terminals and includes a free zone, business park, and cargo and storage facilities in addition to Wi-Fi access.

From Najaf, travellers can take international flights from the Al Najaf International Airport (NJF). The single terminal airport has a VIP lounge and both departure and arrival halls. Opportunities to shop and dine are also available.

Airport Transportation in Iraq

The best available option is to take a taxi to Baghdad Airport. Although there are shuttle services that allow you to ride a bus to the Baghdad Airport, they are usually shared with other passengers and therefore the trip can take much longer. There is also a subway and a train to Baghdad Airport from the City Centre.

From Najaf city centre, you can catch a taxi, a bus or mini-bus to Al Najaf International Airport.

If you purchase tickets to Almaty during the summer, you can explore the stunning Trans-Ili Alatau on horseback and refresh yourself in Alpine Lakes. If you take advantage of the off-peak season flight deals to Almaty, you can see these same areas under a beautiful blanket of snow and also enjoy winter sports. As this country has not yet been exposed to international tourism, it will be relatively easy to find cheap hotels in Almaty, except in the month of September, which is the busiest month of the year.
