Major Airports in Switzerland

In Geneva, international flights depart from Genève-Aéroport (GVA). The main airport passenger terminal has exceptional restaurants, which include caviar specialists and four Swiss chocolate shops.

Flights depart Zurich from Zurich Airport (ZRH). The terminals host two large shopping and dining centres, with over 80 vendors between them. Zurich Airport is also the home of the Swiss Museum of Transport. It offers ground transportation via shuttle to and from the city centre.

The distance to Genève-Aéroport from city centre is approximately 4 km. Travellers can take a bus to Genève-Aéroport from one of seven routes, arriving every 8-15 minutes. A taxi to Genève-Aéroport can be hired from any of 60 locations throughout the city.

A train to Zurich Airport is available via Swiss Federal Railways, which runs throughout the day from 06:30 until 22:30. A taxi to Zurich Airport is available 24 hours per day from the dedicated travel provider, Airport Taxi, or limousines and minibuses can be hired from one of three firms.
