Lagos is one of the largest cities in all of Africa and the Port of Lagos is one of the busiest in Africa as well. This is a city that is quickly becoming a sought after vacation destination with its modern infrastructure and plethora of ocean beaches along the Atlantic. Like most West African countries, Nigeria experiences a dry summer season, shouldered by very wet seasons, it’s the winter dry season when the weather is at its most pleasant. The peak tourist season to travel to Lagos is between December and March, and it is best to buy your tickets to Lagos early if coming at this time of year. Major Airports in Indonesia

One option for flying internationally is Husein Sastranegara International Airport (BDO) in Bandung. Just 5km from the city centre, the airport has a single terminal with three floors and all the standard amenities.

In Bali, you can fly from the Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) near the city of Denpasar. Travellers taking international flights depart via the newer, L-shaped terminal. There is also Ngurah Rai airport facility situated nearby on the Island of Lombok.

Air Transportation in Indonesia

Ngurah Rai Airport has its own taxi service, but you can also take a private taxi to Ngurah Rai Airport and this service is available on the arrivals level where you can buy a taxi coupon. The distance from Denpasar city centre is 13km, but the journey time to the airport can vary according to the time of day. The public bus to Ngurah Rai Airport takes around 50 minutes.

A taxi from Bandung city centre to Husein Sastranegara Airport takes around 10 minutes and the train to Husein Sastranegara Airport is only a 3km journey.
