Arriving in Beirut

Book your flights to Beirut with Etihad Airways and discover the charms of the city that has come to be regarded as "the Switzerland of the Middle East." Beaches for relaxation, a lively nightlife, and the traces of the past are combined to form a single picture.

Plan Your Beirut Visit

To travel to Beirut is to plunge into ancient history: at the National Museum you can get a close look at Phoenician culture, in the Cilicia Museum you will learn about Armenian customs, and on Serail Hill you will find monuments inspired by Ottoman architecture. Beirut is not just about history, however, because it also has a myriad of bars, cafes, and pubs in Gemmayzeh.

Buying tickets to Beirut also will allow you to practice your swing on the golf courses, shop at the more than 200 stalls of its souk, and take a photo of the incredible Pigeons’ Rock, two huge rocks that emerge from the depths of the Mediterranean. If you decide to take advantage of the flight deals to Beirut during the summer, you also can enjoy the weekly One Big Sunday beach concerts. Make your reservations early to find cheap hotels in Beirut for these dates.

Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, YUL, is Montreal’s main airport. Located 20 km, or 12 miles, outside of the beautiful city’s Downtown, the grand facility was named after Canada’s 15th Prime Minister, Pierre Elliott Trudeau.

Trudeau is the busiest airport in Quebec, as well as the third busiest airport in the entire country. More than 13 million passengers travel in and out of YUL every year. A flight usually takes off from Trudeau every 2 to 3 minutes.

Getting to Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport

Thanks to the Société de transport de Montréal (STM), there are four different bus routes that can get a traveler to Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. Route 204 Cardinal runs every day of the week. Meanwhile, route 209 runs on weekdays. The other two buses, route 356 and route 378 operate in the evening.

In 2010, the Société de transport de Montréal opened up a 747 Montreal-Trudeau/Downtown route. The route is open 24-7 and carries passengers to the airport from eight different locations Downtown.

Of course, a traveler leaving Montreal can always pick up his or her phone and call a taxi, if not a limo service, to get to the airport. Flying out of Montreal can be a breeze.
