Arriving in Beirut

Book your flights to Beirut with Etihad Airways and discover the charms of the city that has come to be regarded as "the Switzerland of the Middle East." Beaches for relaxation, a lively nightlife, and the traces of the past are combined to form a single picture.

Plan Your Beirut Visit

To travel to Beirut is to plunge into ancient history: at the National Museum you can get a close look at Phoenician culture, in the Cilicia Museum you will learn about Armenian customs, and on Serail Hill you will find monuments inspired by Ottoman architecture. Beirut is not just about history, however, because it also has a myriad of bars, cafes, and pubs in Gemmayzeh.

Buying tickets to Beirut also will allow you to practice your swing on the golf courses, shop at the more than 200 stalls of its souk, and take a photo of the incredible Pigeons’ Rock, two huge rocks that emerge from the depths of the Mediterranean. If you decide to take advantage of the flight deals to Beirut during the summer, you also can enjoy the weekly One Big Sunday beach concerts. Make your reservations early to find cheap hotels in Beirut for these dates.

Major Airports in Kagoshima

Air travel in Kagoshima is handled primarily by Kagoshima Airport (KOJ), which opened in 1972, replacing a Japanese Naval facility that had served as a primary airport hub since 1957. The former hub has since been renovated and is now the site of Kagoshima Prefecture’s government offices.

Airport Transportation in Kagoshima

Kagoshima Airport features a broad selection of ground transport options; however, its relatively distant location from Kagoshima City, 18.3 miles, means that some options aren’t financially viable. The best balance of convenience and affordability is the bus to Kagoshima Airport, which leaves at regular times from the city. A taxi to Kagoshima Airport can also be obtained, and may provide greater scheduling flexibility, but retaining a taxi for that distance is extremely expensive. Alternatively, while there is no direct train to Kagoshima Airport, the JR train line does provide access to two bus stops near Kagoshima airport, which provides another method of access for visitors.

Choose Etihad Airways, the National Airline of the United Arab Emirates, for flights from Kagoshima to Beirut on which you will be travelling in comfort and style.
