Major Airports in Gladstone

A small, but expanding community owned facility, Gladstone Airport (GLT) is located six miles from Gladstone’s city centre. The airport has one terminal for both domestic and international flights. Short and long term parking are available. Parking in one of the airport car parks is free for up to 2 hours. Other services that the airport offers include on-site rental car agencies, cash machines, and boarding or disembarkation assistance. The lower concourse of the airport features a large observation and spotting deck where you can see the local light aviation enthusiasts as you wait for your flight.

Airport Transportation in Gladstone

It is possible to catch a bus to Gladstone Airport from several locations around the city centre and as the airport is located close to the town the ride only takes about 15 minutes. A taxi to Gladstone Airport from the city centre will take 10 minutes. Currently, there is no train to Gladstone Airport from the city.
