Arriving in Beirut

Book your flights to Beirut with Etihad Airways and discover the charms of the city that has come to be regarded as "the Switzerland of the Middle East." Beaches for relaxation, a lively nightlife, and the traces of the past are combined to form a single picture.

Plan Your Beirut Visit

To travel to Beirut is to plunge into ancient history: at the National Museum you can get a close look at Phoenician culture, in the Cilicia Museum you will learn about Armenian customs, and on Serail Hill you will find monuments inspired by Ottoman architecture. Beirut is not just about history, however, because it also has a myriad of bars, cafes, and pubs in Gemmayzeh.

Buying tickets to Beirut also will allow you to practice your swing on the golf courses, shop at the more than 200 stalls of its souk, and take a photo of the incredible Pigeons’ Rock, two huge rocks that emerge from the depths of the Mediterranean. If you decide to take advantage of the flight deals to Beirut during the summer, you also can enjoy the weekly One Big Sunday beach concerts. Make your reservations early to find cheap hotels in Beirut for these dates.

Flying from Langkawi

Book your flights from Langkawi with Etihad Airways now to several destinations around the world and experience the superior service and exemplary aircraft that Etihad Airways provides.

Major Airports in Langkawi

Langkawi International Airport (LGK) is the only airport on the island and it is located 25 minutes from Kuah city centre. The airport is also the site of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition so if you have the time, be sure to get to the airport early and take the opportunity to have a look. The airport has a duty free shop, currency exchange, several kiosk shops offering various goods and a few cafes.

Airport Transportation in Langkawi

At present, there is no train to Langkawi International Airport. As the island is quite small there isn’t a great demand for public transport, so there is also no regularly scheduled bus to Langkawi International Airport, but some hotels will provide a shuttle service to the airport. You can however take a taxi to Langkawi International Airport and these are readily available throughout the island. Taxis can be booked from your hotel and will be able to take you on a scenic journey before you leave Langkwai.

Choose Etihad Airways, the National Airline of the United Arab Emirates, for flights from Langkawi to Beirut on which you will be travelling in comfort and style.
