Major Airports in Frankfurt

In Frankfurt, international flights depart from the Frankfurt Airport (FRA). The airport has two passenger terminals. The free SkyLine train connects the two terminals and leaves every 2-3 minutes. The train ride between terminals takes just two minutes. While waiting for your flight, enjoy Frankfurt Airport’s many shops, restaurants, salons, and spas. Or take advantage of the on-site travel agencies to book upcoming excursions. The airport also has financial services such as exchange windows, banks, and ATMs.

Airport Transportation in Frankfurt

In Frankfurt, it is possible to take a bus to Frankfurt Airport from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof station (the city’s main train station and the hub of most of its transportation options) and the ride takes about 1 hour 45 minutes. The train to Frankfurt Airport from Hauptbahnhof takes approximately 30 minutes. If you wish to travel by S-Bahn, Frankfurt’s metro-train, to the airport; the trip will take about 15 minutes. A taxi to Frankfurt Airport from Frankfurt city centre takes between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
