Major Airports in Bergen

Bergen Airport, Flesland (BGO) is located about 20 km from the city. With an annual average of nearly six million passengers, it is the second busiest airport in Norway and is continuously expanding. In fact, there are plans to open a new terminal that will host the growing number of tourists.

Airport Transportation in Bergen

There are three bus lines you can use to take the bus to Bergen Airport: No. 23 passes through the Loddefjord and Storavatnet areas, and No. 56 and No. 57 depart from Nesttun. The ride takes between 20 and 30 minutes and almost always includes stops at major hotels in the city.

There is no train to Bergen Airport, Flesland, but another alternative for transportation is a taxi. In fact, taking a taxi to Bergen Airport, Flesland is a very convenient option, and prices are reasonable. Keep in mind, however, that it normally takes the same time as the buses, which is an average of 30 minutes.
