Major Airports in Rhodes

The only access to the island by air is via Rhodes International Airport (RHO), also known as Diagoras International Airport. It is located on the west side of the island, approximately 14 km from the town of Rhodes. There are regular flights all year to destinations in Greece, and during the summer peak season, between May and October, there are flights directly to and from certain European destinations.

Airport Transportation in Rhodes

A taxi to Rhodes International Airport will take around 30 minutes and can easily be arranged by your hotel, or you can book yourself using one of the many local companies. This is the easiest option and the most reliable, and although it is possible to take a RODA bus to Rhodes International Airport, they can be very busy. Another option if you have been taking advantage of a hire car is to drive yourself to the airport, as airport drop-offs are common and often free. There is no train to Rhodes International Airport.
