Whitsunday Coast Airport (PPP) is the regional airport serving the whole Whitsunday region. It is the main airport for Proserpine and northern Queensland and functions as a transit destination for the Great Barrier Reef and the Whitsunday Islands. The airport is about 14km south of Proserpine and 40km away from the very attractive and popular Airlie Beach resort. The airport facilities include car hire, ATM, a kiosk and plenty of parking spaces.
