Plan Your Frankfurt Holiday

We would need an entire book to tell you all the reasons to travel to Frankfurt for your next holiday. Here are just a few to whet your appetite; the German Film Museum takes guests through the magical history of film from optical illusions all the way through the newest film technologies; you can take in a football match at Commerzbank Arena and cheer on the Eintracht Frankfurt footballers.

The peak seasons in Frankfurt run from the end of May to early August and around the winter holiday season, late November through December. If you plan to visit during these popular times, we recommend reserving your tickets to Frankfurt several months in advance. Frankfurt has events and activities all year round, however, such as the Book Fair in October, the world’s largest trade fair for books. Consider travelling in the off-season period in order to find cheap hotels in Frankfurt and to avoid the crowds. Don’t forget to visit our Deals section to find flight deals to Frankfurt throughout the year.
