Plan Your Islamabad Holiday

There are many reasons to travel to Islamabad. The historical sites and lovely green areas combine to make a trip to Islamabad an enjoyable, informative and relaxing experience. Be sure to visit the Pakistan Monument overlooking the city. A good place to consider spending a day is the Pakistan Museum of Natural History or perhaps the National Art Gallery. The Golra Pakistan Railways Heritage Museum which houses several old locomotives, a refurbished old world train station and a small museum is a hidden gem or just simply spend a day wandering through the many parks that line the avenues of Islamabad.

The best time of year to visit Islamabad is from October to April. It is also the busiest time of year for tourism in the area so it is strongly recommended that you buy your tickets to Islamabad as early as possible before you come. It is much easier to find cheap hotels in Islamabad if you plan your travel from May through September. Flight deals to Islamabad can be found in our Deals section.
