Arriving in Mumbai

Book flights to Mumbai with Etihad Airways and get ready to delve into a wonderfully vibrant city that will fascinate you with its contrasts. Awaiting you is a land of colonial relics, modern skyscrapers, impressive temples, and peaceful parks.

Plan Your Mumbai Holiday

There are many ways to discover Mumbai: admiring the colonial jewels along the streets of the Fort neighbourhood, looking deep into the world of Bollywood, appreciating Mongolian paintings at the Prince of Wales Museum, or looking for a bargain in the shops that populate Colaba Causeway. When evening falls, sites such as the boulevard on Marine Drive and the Haji Ali Dargah Mosque offer the best views of the city.

Travel to Mumbai without restricting yourself to its urban areas as there is so much more to see. If you want to take advantage of any of the flight deals to Mumbai, plan a visit to see the impressive caves on Elephanta Island, the waterfalls of Lonavla, and a sunrise at Juhu Beach. Remember that the rainy season runs from June until September, so keep this in mind when you buy tickets to Mumbai, although finding cheap hotels in Mumbai during these months will be easier.

Flying from Jordan

Reserve your flights from Jordan to hundreds of destinations worldwide with Etihad Airways and enjoy award-winning service throughout your flight.

Major Airports in Jordan

For travellers leaving Zizya, international flights leave Queen Alia International Airport (AMM). Located 20 miles south of Amman, this is Jordan’s largest airport. There are two passenger terminals and parking is available at a departure curb side area in addition to short and long term parking lots.

Another option for flights out of Jordan is from the King Hussein International Airport (AQJ). This airport has a single passenger terminal with a capacity of 1.5 million passengers annually. There is also a post office, duty free shopping, and cafeterias.

Airport Transportation in Jordan

You can catch your international flight by taking a bus or taxi to Queen Alia Airport and travel time will take around 45 to 60 minutes from central Amman. There is currently no train to Queen Alia Airport and therefore buses and taxis are your best options of ground transportation.

You can travel by bus to King Hussein Airport, but this often takes more than 3 hours from Amman centre. You can also take a private taxi making the journey about an hour.

Plan Your Launceston Holiday

Visiting such a remote and relatively isolated area is a remarkable opportunity. Lovers of history and a quiet, traditional way of life will find this city difficult to beat, yet there is enough variety for adventures to be found if so desired.

The busiest time to travel to Launceston is December to February, which is further affected by school holidays. It is highly advisable that you reserve your tickets to Launceston well in advance if you wish to travel at this busier time. To find cheap hotels in Launceston and avoid too many crowds, travel in springtime when the climate is still settled. Personal choice dictates when best to visit the area due to the variety of opportunities on offer. Even in winter, snow rarely lasts any length of time, and although the climate is cooler, many attractions remain open all year.
