Plan Your Lagos Holiday

Lagos is one of the largest cities in all of Africa and the Port of Lagos is one of the busiest in Africa as well. This is a city that is quickly becoming a sought after vacation destination with its modern infrastructure and plethora of ocean beaches along the Atlantic. Not far from the 5 star hotels that line the beaches are several entertaining and informative tourist attractions like the Nigerian National Museum and Iga Indungaran.

Like most West African countries, Nigeria experiences a dry summer season, shouldered by very wet seasons, it’s the winter dry season when the weather is at its most pleasant. The peak tourist season to travel to Lagos is between December and March, and it is best to buy your tickets to Lagos early if coming at this time of year. Cheap hotels in Lagos are easy to find from April to July, when the weather is warm, but the rain is heavy. Flight deals to Lagos can be found year round with our Deals section.

Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) is by far the busiest airport in the Philippines. It is located just outside Manila and serves 31 million passengers a year. It houses numerous shops and restaurants.

There are nine different bus routes serving the airport so taking a bus to Ninoy Aquino International Airport is fairly easy and inexpensive. Most of the routes travel down Epifanio de los Santos Avenue en route to the airport. Taking a train to Ninoy Aquino International Airport is also reasonably easy although somewhat indirect. The Manila LRT serves the airport complex via Baclaran Station and Philippine National Railways connects with the airport via Nichols Station. The third option by train is to take the MRT to Taft Avenue Station and from there a shuttle bus will take you to Terminal 3.
