An ancient city with incredible history, Lahore is a filled with spectacular attractions. The most visited sites are the various Mughal structures dating back hundreds of years. Lahore is home to numerous festivals throughout the year including the Basant Festival and its cavalcade of flying colours. Held every year in February, the Basant Festival includes an internationally famous kite flying competition and many people travel to Lahore for the event. It is highly recommended that you book your tickets to Lahore as early as possible if coming in February.

The prime time for tourist travel to this city is in the spring from February to April and then again in the autumn from mid September to mid November. Major Airports in Raleigh-Durham

Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is located between the two cities of Raleigh and Durham and it is approximately a 25-minute drive from the centre of Raleigh to the airport. With only two terminals it is a fairly small airport, which means it’s easy to walk around and you should experience fewer queues than are typical of most airports. Pop in and out of the selection of shops and eateries whilst you’re waiting for your domestic or international flight.

Airport Transportation in Raleigh-Durham

A taxi to Raleigh-Durham International Airport from downtown Raleigh will take just 25 minutes and they are easy to find or flag down. There is also the Triangle Transit Bus that frequently travels this route to Raleigh-Durham International Airport and only takes a little longer than a taxi. Rental cars are also available and easy to come by if you prefer to drive yourself around and the airport is easily accessible from Interstate 40. There is no train available to Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
