Flying from Podgorica

Traveling out of Podgorica could not be any easier than with Etihad Airways. From the time you get to the airport until you pick up your baggage at your final destination, every step of your journey will be a pleasure.

Podgorica’s Major Airport

The Podgorica Airport, TGD, is located no more than 15 km, or 9 miles, south of the city. Also referred as to Golubovci Airport by locals, TGD is the main international airport for the nation of Montenegro. There is only one terminal. Yet, it serves over 650,000 passengers a year. The airport has been connected to the metro area with a single street. Every day, a traveler can catch flights to Belgrade, Budapest, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Ljubljana, Niš, Paris, Rome, Moscow, Vienna, Zagreb and Zürich.

While public buses can take a passenger to the Podgorica Airport, they do not run all of the time. In other words, riding in a taxi may be the best way to go.

Since December 2009, all taxis have a flat rate of €15 to get a passenger to TGD from anywhere in the city. Of course, a person can always negotiate with a taxi driver to get a better rate.

Choose Etihad Airways, the National Airline of the United Arab Emirates, for flights from Podgorica to Johannesburg on which you will be travelling in comfort and style.
