Arriving in Bangkok

Book flights to Bangkok with Etihad Airways and discover its secrets. Impressive temples, modern skyscrapers, and neighbourhoods where almost nothing has changed in the last 200 years will welcome you.

Plan Your Bangkok Holiday

Travel to Bangkok and go on an adventure of discovery. You'll find extraordinary and bizarre buildings like a colossal museum in the form of a three-headed elephant, a building identical to a robot, and a 17-story tower surrounded by a huge dragon. If you decide to buy tickets to Bangkok, there will be a surprise around every corner. Only here will you be able to encounter a stunning temple like Wat Arun, and then after crossing a river, find a modern shopping mall like Siam Paragon or MBK.

This city of contrasts seems fast-paced to tourists at first, but behind its skyscrapers a little more exploring will reveal, on the side west of the River, traditional houses and merchants who still sail in their boats full of fruits. With the flight deals to Bangkok offered by Etihad Airways, you will be able to see both sides of this city, but for cheap hotels in Bangkok remember that the low season is from May to August.

Flying from Freetown

Book your flights from Freetown to hundreds of destinations worldwide with Etihad Airways. We ensure exceptional service from the time of reservation until your arrival at your destination.

Major Airports in Freetown

Freetown is served by the Lungi International Airport (FNA). The airport is located in Lungi, just across the Sierra Leone River from Freetown. Its terminal building is divided into three sections; a General Waiting Hall, a Departures Wing, and an Arrivals Wing. The airport offers many services for your travelling convenience, including ticketing desks for local ground transportation, a post office, a travel agency, a restaurant and an information desk with a lost and found area.

Airport Transportation in Freetown

The Sierra Leone River separates Lungi International Airport from Freetown, so getting a bus or train to Lungi International Airport are not options for passenger transport. Instead, passengers must take a water taxi to Lungi International Airport. The water taxis are a little bigger than a speedboat and will get you to the airport from Freetown in about 30 minutes. As the water taxis can often be crowded we recommend purchasing your tickets in advance. Other options for transport to Lungi International Airport are the ferry, helicopter or hovercraft.

Choose Etihad Airways, the National Airline of the United Arab Emirates, for flights from Freetown to Bangkok on which you will be travelling in comfort and style.
