Major Airports in Manado

Sam Ratulangi International Airport (MDC) is the airport which serves Manado and the neighbouring areas and it is located 13 km, or about 30 minutes, from Manado. The airport terminal is well equipped with restaurants, ATMs, gift shops, duty-free shops, car rental desks and lounges to ensure your comfort whilst travelling.

Airport Transportation in Manado

A taxi to Sam Ratulangi International Airport is easy to arrange from the Manado city centre. This is the usual transport method in the area, but a bus to Sam Ratulangi International Airport is available from the bus station in town. There is no train to Sam Ratulangi International Airport. Mikrolet, small blue buses, transport is also available, linking the bus terminal to various city regions and this is a popular form of local transport.
