In Bucharest, international flights connect through the Henri Coanda Airport (OTP) which is located in Otopeni. The airport’s two buildings are connected by a pedestrian friendly bridge and while simple in nature, basic amenities such as dining and convenience retail are offered to travellers. The airport offers both short term and long term parking for domestic and international travellers.

Airport Transportation in Bucharest

Passengers departing from Bucharest have several travel options available when heading to Henri Coanda Airport. Departing travellers can take an affordable taxi to Henri Coanda Airport from the city’s centre. Another option is to take a bus to Henri Coanda Airport. Currently two city buses offer transportation service to the airport. Passengers can also take a train to Henri Coanda Airport from the main railroad station, Gara de Nord. While this train route doesn’t offer direct drop-off for passengers, it is just a short walk or shuttle bus ride to the airport.
