Albury Airport (ABX), located in the northeast of the city, handles primarily domestic flights to large cities, such as Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra. In recent years, due to the rise in tourism in this area, it has expanded its facilities to receive up to 200 flights a week.

Airport Transportation in Albury

The airport is just 4km from the city of Albury and the business district of Lavington. The bus to the Albury Airport, a very economical option to travel, departs from the city centre at Griffiths Street. It is Bus No. 906 and leaves for the airport at an interval of thirty minutes.

Another alternative is to take a taxi to Albury Airport which will take about 20 minutes from the city centre. If you travel in a group, minibuses are the most cost-effective option, and they can be rented in advance and they depart from many locations including Wodonga. Presently, there is no train to Albury Airport.
