Arriving in Seoul

Depend on Etihad Airways for your next flight to Seoul. There is no more efficient way to get to the exciting land of exquisite beauty and culture.

Plan Your Seoul Getaway

There is so much to do in Seoul that a visitor never has to be stuck in his or her room watching TV. For instance, Gyeongbok Palace was originally built in the late 1300s. English and Spanish tours are available for visitors to learn more about Korea's architectural traditions, as well as the nation’s customs. Bukchon Village features two palaces, along with quaint cafés, restaurants and art galleries, such as the Art Sonje Center. The War memorial of Korea displays generations’ worth of guns, tanks and planes.

Nature lovers will love climbing the picturesque mountains known as Bugaksan peak. The friendly neighborhood of Itaewon is full of lively bars, clubs, restaurants and shops. People can buy furniture and art work, as well as tailored suits. People can then go out dancing at one of the hottest spots in Seoul, Club Volume. Similarly, the Namdaemun market contains a seemingly endless stretch of street-vendor stalls. For those looking to take a romantic stroll, Cheonggyecheon is a 5.8 km, or 3.6 mile stream with gorgeous waterfalls and dozens of overhead bridges. Of course, you can always hop on a Seoul City Tour Bus to take in as much Korean culture as you can.

Flying from Sarajevo

Travel out of Sarajevo could not be any easier than with Etihad Airways. From the time you book your flight until you step off of the plane in your final destination, your journey will be a pleasure.

Sarajevo’s Major Airports

The Sarajevo International Airport, SJJ, is located just outside the city. It is also known as Butmir Airport. Its thriving commercial flight business is growing by roughly 10% every year. In fact, SJJ had 600,000 passengers, more than every other airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina combined.

An extension of the passenger departure terminal is currently taking place. An extra 7,000 square meters is being built. Upgrades and expansions to the taxiway is also taking place. The international airport will then be connected to the Sarajevo Airport Center retail center. In other words, Sarajevo’s residents can get some shopping done on their way out of town.

Airport Transportation in Sarajevo

The Sarajevo International Airport is located a little more than 6 km southwest of the railway station, in the suburb of Butmir. A passenger can rely on Bus #36 to the stop located on the main road outside the airport parking lot. You can pick up the bus every 30 minutes. A person can also depend on the tram to the Ilidža terminal and get Bus #37. The second stop is SJJ. Hopping into a taxi can be rather expensive for the 1.6 KM drive from Downtown Sarajevo.

Choose Etihad Airways, the National Airline of the United Arab Emirates, for flights from Sarajevo to Seoul on which you will be travelling in comfort and style.
