Plan Your Phnom Penh Holiday

The rich and diverse history of Phnom Penh can be seen throughout the city’s landscape. When you travel to Phnom Penh, a visit to Wat Preah Keo is a must. Its floors are lined with solid silver tiles and the embedded in the walls of the silver pagoda are numerous solid gold statues studded with precious gems. The Royal Palace is another beautiful building to stop by. However, you cannot take a tour of the interior as the current King and Queen still reside there.

Summer is the time to visit the city for most tourists. The summer months of February and March are busy times in Phnom Penh despite high humidity. We suggest booking tickets to Phnom Penh for travel in the winter between December and January when the average temperature is still around 30 degrees Celsius and it is a lot less humid. Cheap hotels in Phnom Penh can be found in May and Flight deals to Phnom Penh are available with Etihad’s Deals section.
