Major Airports in Billund

Billund Airport (BLL) is located just 3km from the city. In its early days it was a small airport dedicated to the shipping industry. Due to the increase of tourism in the area, it was adapted to receive international passengers and recently opened a second terminal, which has made it one of the busiest airports in Denmark.

Airport Transportation in Billund

Although there is no train to Billund Airport, bus services work very well. Route 384 departs from Billund Center and goes around the main hotels in the city before stopping at the airport. It is important to keep in mind that this service ends before midnight.

You can also take a bus to Billund Airport. Various lines depart from nearby cities, but these routes can terminate service in the afternoon. If you travel at an inconvenient time or have a lot of luggage, the easiest alternative is to take a taxi to Billund Airport.
